My name is Caitlin Fielder, I am a professional trail runner, and full time artist running my own business. Running has provided me with the opportunity to explore and see the world in ways that I otherwise couldn't have. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone, both mentally and physically. Running and training helped me to have a sense of structure and accountability during a point in my life when I felt like I needed direction. For me, the varying movement and immersion in nature of trail running activates my mind and gives me different perspectives. It also helps immensely in my work, feeding my creativity and imagination.
